Imam Khomeini’s National Identification Card

The founder of the Islamic Republic used to observe the laws and regulations of the country after assuming responsibility as the leader of the Islamic revolution.

Imam’s first identification card was issued in the early years of the 20th century in the Iranian city of Khomein, the birthplace of a child who changed the course of history and confronted the world arrogant and colonial powers in latter years.


The Islamic Revolution emerged as victorious after decades of struggle under the wise leadership of Imam Khomeini in Iran in 1979. Imam continued to guide the nation following the historic victory.


During these years when Imam had assigned responsibility as the leader of the Islamic movement, he was pursuing and abiding by all his religious duties and the national laws in a very accurate manner.


Nine years after the Islamic revolution victory, a plan was announced by the government that all national identity cards would be changed and the citizens would be granted new ones with logo of the Islamic Republic. So all Iranian nationals were obliged to fill forms and apply for new cards.


Imam’s followed the same procedures as it were pursued by other ordinary citizens.


Pundits believe that the great leader of the Muslim world promoted democratic values, rule of law, best practices of governance and abided by all the good religious and legal decrees.


The Islamic revolution under wise leadership of Imam Khomeini happened at a very sensitive juncture of history when the world’s societies had become morally bankrupt and were deeply plunged into social and moral decline.


Imam Khomeini, the religious and spiritual leader of the Muslim world established a distinctive system which revived the spiritual, human and religious values among the Iranian nation and other communities across the globe.


The great Imam Khomeini established an Islamic-democratic system which heavily relied on masses’ backing and support. Imam soon became focal point for attention of the Muslim world and the oppressed nations.


Imam and his determined followers emerged as triumphant despite a staunch opposition by several powers. The great leader astonished the eastern powers and urged the whole world to ponder about his message.
