Imam Khomeini, Mulla Sadra share political ideas

Recent studies indicate that the political ideas of the founder of the Islamic Republic have had great similarities with Mulla Sadra in theory and practice.

Imam Khomeini and Mulla Sadra maintain that Islam is a complete code of life and respondent to needs of humanity through all ages.

 Mulla Sadra was an Iranian Islamic philosopher and theologian who led the Iranian and Islamic cultural towards rationality, philosophy and mysticism in the 17th century.  He is arguably considered as the single most important and influential philosopher in the Muslim world in the last four centuries.


Imam Khomeini preserved the academic and political legacy of scholars by continuing their path and leading the Islamic movement.

He left several works as his academic legacy, which would continue to guide the generations for decades to come.
