Imam Khomeini founded comprehensive school of thought: Leader

The founder of the Islamic Republic has founded a comprehensive school of thought which includes all divine, social, cultural and political perspectives.

Supreme leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said while delivering a speech to thousands of Iranians and foreign guests attending the 26th anniversary of heavenly departure of the founder of Islamic Republic.


The leader said that some are attempting to introduce Imam Khomeini as a mere a personality in the history, this is not accurate concept.


Imam Khomeini led a great movement which made and transformed history, he said.


The leader went onto say that Imam established a comprehensive intellectual, political and social system.


Imam’s divine school of thought has been based on monotheistic and is dynamic in all perspectives, he noted.


The leader concluded that Imam had put his trust in divine promises and distrust at the world arrogant powers.


Hundreds of foreign guest are in the Iranian capital to attend cultural and religious ceremonies on the occasion of the anniversary of Imam Khomeini.


Imam Khomeini, the great religious and spiritual leader of the Muslim world passed away on June 3, 1989.


Ruhullah Musawi Khomeini was born on 20 Jamadi al-Akhir 1320/ 24 September 1902—in coincidence with the birth anniversary of Hadrat Fatima (PBUH)- in the small town of Khomein, some 160 kilometers to the southwest of the holy city of Qom.


The founder of the Islamic Republic has spread message of peace and spirituality and rescued humanity from social and moral decline.


The Islamic revolution under the wise leadership of Imam conveyed message of friendship to all oppressed nations and confronted the aggressive behavior and brutality of colonial powers.


Every year, on the eve of the anniversary of heavenly departure of Imam Khomeini, millions of Imam Devotees, including hundreds of foreign guests, gather to pledge their allegiance to the great ideals of Imam.
