Laylatul Qadr events at Imam Khomeini holy shrine
Administrative committee announces a series of spiritual programs and events scheduled to be held at Imam Khomeini’s holy mausoleum on nights of Qadr during the blessed month of Ramadan.
The spiritual events are detailed in a statement and public masses are invited to attend these divine and spiritual programs.
The special events are arranged on nights of 19th, 21st and 23rd of the holy month of Ramadan.
Speakers will delivers speeches on various religious topics, the holy Quran will be recited and supplications narrated by the holy prophet and his infallible successor are to be read during these nights from 22.30 p.m to 2:00 a.m local time.
Thousands of people attend spiritual and religious ceremonies which are held each year at Imam Khomeini’s holy shrine each year during the holy month of Ramadan.
The mausoleum of the world religious and spiritual leader is located on suburbs of the Iranian capital, Tehran and is visited by thousands of pilgrims around Iran and the different parts of the world every year.
According to the holy Quran, among the nights of Ramadhan is one special night known as the Night of Power (Laylatul Qadr), which is better than a thousand months. . Good deeds performed on that single night are equal to those performed over a thousand months.
Imam Khomeini through his works and messages had advised devotees and believers to pay special attention for their self-purification during this period.
