The committee of senior officials tasked with organizing the key summit titled “Imam Khomeini, Quran and the household of the holy prophet” was held at one of the headquarters of the Ministry of Research, Science and Technology.
The meeting was attended by senior officials from the Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Research, Science and Technology and other relevant authorities.
The institute for compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini’s works in close coordination with several other institutions would take an active part and arrange academic contests and events on the occasion.
Several academic articles would be presented by scholars and researchers about Imam Khomeini ideas and thought in various languages during the summit.
The summit is scheduled to be held in late October and in the beginning of the month of November.
The academics from across Iran and globe are expected to participate in the event.
The founder of the Islamic Republic left several works which covers a range of fields including Quranic interpretation, Hadith, philosophy, mysticism, jurisprudence and poetry.
The world religious and spiritual leader has had presented very deep and insightful Quranic and divine ideas which are being welcomed and are becoming increasingly popular among believers around the world.
Imam works are also becoming part of university curriculum in various countries.
Imam Khomeini academic legacy is becoming point of attention for academic and scholars and they are conducting researches on Imam’s ideals and dynamic works.
