Foreign ministry officials vow allegiance to Imam Khomeini ideals
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif along with senior officials and ambassadors has paid tribute to the founder of the Islamic Republic.

Zarif and senior officials paid homage to Imam Khomeini by paying his holy mausoleum located on the outskirts of the Iranian capital, Tehran. They also held an important meeting with Ayatollah Seyyed Hassan Khomeini, the grandson of the founder of the Islamic Republic to seek his guidance on various issues. Seyyed Hassan Khomeini hailed efforts by the foreign minister and his colleagues on diplomatic fronts on the international arena in recent months. It is worthy to mention that the holy shrine of the Imam Khomeini is visited by thousands of tourists and pilgrims from across Iran and other parts of the world. Imam Khomeini mausoleum has also become a center for cultural, religious and social activities.
