An Iraqi pilgrim says the founder of the Islamic Republic has been successful in creating genuine unity among the Muslim world.
The Iraqi national made remarks while paying a visit to Imam Khomeini’s holy mausoleum on the outskirts of the Iranian capital, Tehran.
The elderly pilgrim, who was accompanied by his granddaughter, also stressed that Imam seems first great figure in contemporary history who could create an unprecedented and genuine unity among the Muslim world.
Elsewhere in his remakes, he strongly denounced the extremist and poisonous ideas being propagated by the Takfiri Daesh terrorist groups across Iraq and other places.
He also pointed out that an increasing number of pilgrims have visited Iran in recent months due to matchless hospitability by the Iranian people.
Imam Khomeini shrine has become a center for religious, cultural and religious activities in recent months. The site is being visited by thousands of tourists and pilgrims from across Iran and the other parts of the globe.
