Imam Khomeini inspired Islamic awakening, awareness

A Bahraini pilgrim says the ongoing Islamic awakening and awareness among the Islamic countries owe to thought and ideals of Imam Khomeini.

Hossein Mansour, a Bahraini pilgrim made remarks while paying a visit to Imam Khomeini's shrine which is located on the outskirts of the Iranian capital, Tehran. 


Mansour, who along with his friends and family members paid pilgrimage to Imam Khomeini, stressed that the founder of the Islamic Republic revived the pure teachings of the honorable prophet of Islam for the Muslims.


The Bahraini national said that our objective by visit to Iran has been to pay respect to a great figure of the contemporary Islamic history, an unprecedented religious Shia figure of the era. 


The prominent pilgrim went onto say that even the non-Muslim people have also very positive views about Imam’s personality, his ideals and thought. 


Mansour concluded by saying that Imam Khomeini has been revolutionary figure who undertook a constant truthful struggle for God, the Almighty, and never felt fears or hesitations to accomplish this divine objective.   


Imam’s holy mausoleum is frequented visited by academic, intellectuals, tourists, highly-level delegations and pilgrims from across Iran and other parts of the world. 


The holy site has also become activities of religious, cultural and social activities in recent years. 


Imam Khomeini was a philosopher, mystic, jurist, poet and a divine figure who revived spirituality and restored dignity to the entire Muslim ummah by leading an Islamic Revolution in 1979.  


Experts maintain that Imam Khomeini’s thought influenced the world politics and his ideals continue to raise awareness among Islamic countries and the oppressed nations.
