Imam Khomeini shrine hosted successful exhibition

Imam Khomeini’s holy mausoleum has hosted a very successful exhibition during the auspicious days of Nowruz which marked the advent of spring.

Relevant authorities say more than five thousands pilgrims and tourists visited the exhibition each day. The event under the title of “scent of Jasmine” was held for the period of two weeks. 


Several foreign intellectual and tourists from across Asia, Europe and Americas also paid homage by visiting the holy site and various stalls of the exhibition. 


Several tourists from Russia, Holland and Germany expressed the feeling of spiritual pleasure by visiting the stalls of social, cultural and religious activities.  


The stalls presenting the precious academic works by the founder of the Islamic Republic were widely welcomed by writers, intellectuals, university and seminary figures and also people from various walks of life. Several of Imam’s works have been translated into foreign languages over the past few years. 


Imam left precious works covering the various fields including philosophy, mysticism, jurisprudence, Quranic and Hadith sciences. 


The stalls were also set up for children activities such as painting, reading and drawing of objects. 


It is worthy to mention that Imam Khomeini’s holy shrine has become beacon of religious, spiritual and social gatherings and events in recent months. 


The holy site is visited by a large number of pilgrims and academics and officials from across Iran and the various parts of the world each year. 


The Islamic Revolution under the wise leadership of Imam Khomeini put Iran on track of progress, and changed the balance of power in the interests of the entire Muslim world and the oppressed nations across the globe.
