The grandson of Imam Khomeini made remakes during a gathering which was attended by senior clerics, seminary students and preachers in the Iranian province of Golestan.
The summit was attended by preachers who are tasked to preach during the holy month of Ramadan.
He also went onto say that the main task and duty of a seminary student is to acquire knowledge and preaching among the society.
The people with religious knowledge must undertake serious efforts to address the social problems facing the society, the scholar stressed.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the grandson of the late founder of the Islamic Republic recommended the political factions and politicians to settle their difference through dialogue.
