A prominent cleric suggests that personality of late lady Khadija Thaqafi, the wife of Imam Khomeini should be introduced by national media outlets in more effective way.
Hojjat al-Islam Mohammad Ali Khosravi made remarks while addressing a ceremony recently held at shrine of the late founder of the Islamic Republic.
The religious and spiritual gathering was held in remembrance of martyrs of the revolution and to pay respect to late members of household of Imam Khomeini.
The holy site which is located on the southern suburbs of the Iranian capital, Tehran has become beacon of social, cultural and religious ceremonies in recent years.
Addressing the ceremony, Khosravi recommended for the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting and other Iranian media outlets to broadcast programs which make the society familiar with personality of Imam’s wife who brought up learned sons such as late Seyyed Ahamad Khomeini.
He went onto say that lady Khadija Thaqafi belonged to a family of religious scholars and one of her distinguished characteristic had been rationality and wisdom.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the cleric said that the Islamic Revolution owe to Seyyed Ahmad Khomeini, the son of Imam at several sensitive junctures.
