The grandson of the late founder of the Islamic Republic has hailed and praised spiritual status of martyrs who shielded the Islamic Revolution’s ideals and sacrificed their lives for divine purpose.
Speaking to a ceremony recently held at Imam Khomeini’s shrine, Ayatollah Seyyed Hassan Khomeini said that one of great divine characteristic of Hadrat Zahran (PBUH) has been mother of the greatest martyr of the history, Imam Hussain (PBUH) the doyen of martyrs. She was also wife of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) who sacrificed his life for maintenance of divine values and justice.
The divine lady Fatema Zahra (peace be upon her), the daughter of the holy prophet of Islam has been the spiritually and morally considered as a perfect model for women and the entire humanity in the history of Islam.
Elsewhere in the speech, the internationally-reputed scholar also cited several verses Quranic verses to describe the virtues and statues of martyrs, stressing that there has been no action superior than sacrificing life for divine purposes and truth-seeking causes.
It is worthy to mention that Imam Khomeini, the late founder of the Islamic-Republic through his speeches and historic messages suggested that the humanity must follow footsteps of the people of the household of the holy prophet of Islam if they want to prevent human society from falling into pits of moral and social decline.
Imam also explained the status of martyrs through his several historic speeches.
Iranian nation rendered numerous sacrifices to shield the ideals of Islamic Reovltution under the wise leadership of Imam Khomeini. The victory of Islamic Revolution at sensitive juncture of history revived divine values and genuine teachings of Islam.
The revolution also changed balance of power in the interests of the world oppressed nations and confronted the aggressive policies of colonial powers.
