It is worthy to mention that Imam Khomeini, the late founder of the Islamic Republic through his theological and mystical works have undertaken very enriched discussions to describe the abundance of prayers and reciting supplications narrated by the holy prophet of Islam and his infallible successors.
Imam also recomended believers to recite certian supplications in order to understand real divine wisdom and grasp knowledge.
Imam Khomeini himself regulary used to recite supplications narrated by infallibles on daily basis because he believed that such prayers can morally and spiritually transform faithful people and give them opportunity to decorate believers with virtues and morals.
Meanwhile, on the occasion of the arrival of the holy month of Rajab, in a memo recently posted on Instagram, Ayatollah Hassan Khomeini, the grandson of the late founder of the Islamic Republic, wrote that saying prayers and reciting publications restore confidence in humans’ life and empower them.
He has underscored the key role of prayers and supplications in mankind life.
Seyyed Hassan Khomeini has also cited follwoing verses from the holy book of Quran to highlight the significance of prayers, which creates a connection and bonds between the Lord and his creature.
“We verily created a man and We know what his soul whispereth to him, and We are nearer to him than his jugular vein.”
“But your Sustainer says: “Call unto Me, [and] I shall respond to you! …”
And from those who say, "Our Lord! Grant us in the world good and in the Hereafter good, and save us (from the) punishment (of) the Fire."
