German, Australian tourists briefed about Imam Khomeini’s works, ideals

A group of German and Austrian tourists have visited the institute for compilation and publication of works of Imam Khomeini’s works, where they were briefed about the ideals of the late founder of the Islamic Republic.

Foreign tourists held a meeting with Dr. Mohammad Moghaddam, director of International department to know about the academic activities.


The department has managed to translate dozens of Imam’s works into German and several other languages in recent years. The works are also compiled in digital forms and are available at world exhibitions and international libraries across the globe.


Imam Khomeini had well command over several Islamic disciplines including philosophy, mysticism, jurisprudence and Quranic and Hadith Sciences.


The guests earlier also visited Imam Khomeini’s historic residence in Jamaran, where Imam opted to live following the victory of Islamic Revolution in 1979. They were deeply impressed by Imam’s simple lifestyle and his enlightened ideas.  


The site is visited by thousands of pilgrims, tourists and academics from across Iran and other parts of the world each year.


They also visited a nearby gallery where objects and historic photos regarding the history of Islamic Revolution are kept.
