The Islamic revolution challenged the current international system

Dmitry Zhukov, the Russian author of the book “Imam Khomeini, great leader of the Islamic revolution” declared: “ Imam Khomeini made a revolution victorious which rearranged the world’s political equations and challenged the bipolar system in the international structures.”
Zhukov, in an interview with IRNA said: “It was by Imam Khomeini’s hard tries that freedom movements in some countries were made and in some more the freedom movements were refreshed.”
He added: “The Islamic revolution succeeded in Iran in a situation that the countries were divided between two superpowers, USA and the USSR, and these two superpowers had everything in the world under control, and nothing changed in the political structure of the world without their permission.”
He stated: “Imam Khomeini, without relying on the East and the West, in that time and with his noble plans and the support of people, established a new governing system which its influence in the Middle East and the region increased in a short time and it poked the westerns who were deeply in materialism philosophy.”
This Russian author by mentioning that the developes in the human rights affairs of the Palestine nation are all the fruits of the Islamic revolution in the world, stated: “By the Islamic revolution of Iran’s victory, the movement of the people of Palestine which was under the pressures of the United States and Israel, found a new life.”
He added: “Freedom fightings in most of the Arab and Islamic countries such as Egypt and Libya rout back to the Islamic revolution and their people have choose that as their pattern for becoming free.”
Zhukov pointing to the great personality of Imam Khomeini, especially his uncompromising attitude, stated: “This great leader stood up at the peak power of the Shah’s regime and its the complete support by the United States, and by guiding the people of Iran and gathering them, he overturned Shah’s ruling in this country.”
Mentioning the plunder of natural wealth in Iran at the Mohammad Reza Shah’s era by the United States, he said: “The founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran cut off the United State’s hands from Iran’s wealth and he taught the people of Iran the way of preserving and using their natural resources for their benefit and solidarity.”
He added: “In my book about Imam Khomeini, I have tried to describe his movements, thoughts and different dimensions of his personality in politics, mystics and poems.”
Zhukov by stating that he is influenced by Imam Khomeini’s personality, behavior and way of living, said: “While the leader of the Islamic revolution could gather a lot of facilities for his living and welfare, never stood back from living simply and with contentment, and he always lived among the people and he became a great model as a pious and righteous leader in the world.”
Zhukov’s book holding the title “Imam Khomeini, the great leader of the Islamic revolution” was published in Russian in 1999 and a number of Imam Khomeini’s poems are also gathered in this book.
