People shielding and defending Imam Khomeini’s ideals

A well-known scholar says people are defending Imam Khomeini and his ideals despite all difficulties or hurdles.

Mohammad Ali Ansari, the head of central headquarters in charge of organizing 29th passing anniversary of Imam Khomeini made remarks during a high-level meeting.


He went onto say that it is impossible for someone who have chosen Imam’s way with awareness could easily give up his path.


The scholar also recalled of unpleasant events which happened last year such as an attack on Imam Khomeini’s shrine and parliament building by the Takfiri Daesh terrorist group.


He also counted the election of US Donald Trump as the US president during the last year’s American election.


The meeting was held to assess steps taken in order to hold 29th passing away ceremony of Imam Khomeini in the possible best manner.


Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Rouhollah Mousavi Khomeini, better known as Imam Khomeini, was born to a family of religious scholars in 1902 in the central Iranian city of Khomein.


Imam Khomeini contributed many years of his life to standing up to the US-backed Pahlavi dynasty, and eventually paved the way for its downfall in the 1979 Islamic Revolution.


Imam Khomeini passed away on June 3, 1989 at the age of 87.


The Islamic Revolution under wise leadership of Imam Khomeini put Iran on track of progress, changed the balance of power in the region, strengthened the oppressed nations and confronted the aggressive policies of colonial powers around the globe. 


Upon the victory of Islamic Revolution in Iran under the leadership of Imam, sense of responsibility developed in the realm of politics and turned into the source of legitimacy and strength.


 The founder of the Islamic Republic had frequently stressed the massive participation of people in all fields, including political, cultural and cultural affairs.
