What Imam had brought for mankind was this that we can rule and not be separated from ethics, we can rule and respect civil rights of our society. We can live with respecting ethics and morality.

In occasion of the demise anniversary of Imam Khomeini an international conference on “Ethics and Politics in the life of Imam Ali (a.s.) from the Viewpoint of Imam Khomeini” was held
According to Jamaran news agency, during this conference which was held on Saturday, June 2nd, Hojatolesalm Dr. Mohammad Moqaddam speaking at the opening ceremony said: “I thank you all that have traveled to Iran to commemorate Imam Khomeini’s 23rd demise anniversary.”
Moqaddam mentioning that we believe that the basic soul of Islam is ethics pointed to the coincidence of Imam’s demise anniversary and the birth of Imam Ali (a.s.) and said: “Since morality and ethics were obvious in all the fields of Imam Ali’s (a.s.) life and he was known as the man of ethics, and because of the coincidence we are looking at the ethics and politics in the life of Imam Ali (a.s.) and since it’s the demise anniversary of one his followers who is Imam Khomeini, we are looking to that subject through the viewpoint of Imam Khomeini.”
Moqaddam pointed to the political view of Imam towards power and said: “Imam tried to prevent from politics being as a tool for gaining power. He regarded ethics. Honesty, simple living, caring for people, respecting civil rights, defending human dignity and in one word living by ethics and acting with ethics was always obvious in Imam’s life.”
