An effort has been made in this thesis to examine Islamic republic of Iran's foreign policy according to Imam Khomeini. In that direction through studying the views of his Eminence Imam that are in Sahifeh-ye-Imam and other books of him reached the conclusion that Imam Khomeini's (peace be upon him) views should be situated in an orderly framework so that I can test my hypothesis.
Thus I chose Holsti's theoretical framework in the book titled the bases of examining international politics. What I want to reach at in this research is to test the hypothesis that states that based on not the East and not West all of the principles, goals and tools foreign policy will come true.
And in this thesis I get to know this point that if that strategy is not adhered to none of those views of Imam Khomeini (peace be upon him) concerning Islamic republic of Iran foreign policy will come true.
Of course this matter can be mentioned that dear Imam during his life always emphasized on that strategy and he even recommended to those who were responsible in Iran that they should not for a second even concerning the country's affairs neglect that strategy of not the East and not the West.
