Imam Khomeini carried the flag that said that there is no other God and the only God is him and he did the right thing about the trusteeship and he fought against those who were unbelievers and he pulled to the side the darkness drape. Therefor the world of infidelity in order to stop the Islamic inclination fought against him and his soldiers and those had to do with the Muslims but he fought against corruption and those who were corrupted, infidelity and those who were infidels. Imam's letter (may God have mercy on him) for Gorbachev and him inviting him to believe in Islam and that is considered something that is similar to the letter of the prophet who was the most generous and that was for Rome's empire and the other kings and that has given a new life to Islam.
Iran's Islamic revolution is always the hope of the Muslims. Imam was hopeful that he could pray in holiness. He wanted that God place him in paradise and he would reward him charity for what he has submitted, for what he has authored and for what he has done concerning being a soldier of the holy war.
