In the different periods of the time the women have benefited less from their rights and those have to do with them being the members of the human collective; sometimes they have been a toy for the unrestrained men and the capitalists or as a commercial good they were sold and they were bought but as Imam Khomeini (peace be upon him) has said Islam saved the women and that elevated their position and status to the extent that it introduced her Excellency Zahra (peace be upon ) as a sample lady and a perfect human being to those who are from the world. The role that the women play concerning the training can be summarized using two matters and they are as follows:
1) the importance of the role that the mothers play regarding the right training of their children. Imam (peace be upon him) believes that that which is righteous and the corruption of the children that are raised by their mothers when they are beside them leads to the reformation and the corruption of the society and he mentions that the children's mother have the responsibility for their deeds and actions.
2) The motherhood's honor and importance and the necessity to honor the mothers because of this reason that they bear the sufferings and the hardships.' Imam Khomeini believed that the women and the men must be taught and being taught. As such in order for the women to learn political science he founded some school of taught and he recommended that the women refine their self together with learning the sciences; in the political scene the women's activities is divided into before and after the revolution and Imam mentions that they were present in the tobacco movement and in the constitutional movement as and he believes they were fine; as such he believed that the vast presence of the women in the protests that occurred before the victory of the revolution is an important sign concerning the fact that they had much political activities. The women concerning the victory of the revolution played three fundamental roles: 1) the spiritual and the mental transformation of the women and their becoming free of the condition in which the Pahlavi regime was in and that is something that one can be sorry about 2) being the pioneers in that movement and regarding the encouragement of the men 3) being present in the protests and having a share of that movement.
Within the economic fields also Imam in the direction of making the women busy and they were members of the society and through that it was believed that they could make efforts concerning the solving of the problems he was completely successful but he believed the first that the main occupation of the women is them being the mothers of their children and second once the women's husband are content with them that is considered the important precondition regarding the occupation of the women. Imam Khomeini (peace be upon him) concerning the holy defense placed an emphasis on this that defending the nation is a must for women and they should be taught as far as their readiness for defending the nation is concerned. He always revered the women's presence behind the front and their spirit and that was the one that sought to be martyred.
