A mourning ceremony was held at the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (PBUH) in the city of Mashhad, Iran on the occasion of Imam Reza's martyrdom anniversary.
The eighth Shia Imam was martyred by the tyrant ruler of the time as he struggled to keep the flag of Islam hoisted and promote Islamic teachings and values.
