Abstract:
This research searches for the influence that the founding of the Islamic and the Shia rule in Iran have had on the Islamic unity theory and that has been put forward by the Shia leaders. In that direction some of the backgrounds of that theory and the practical undertakings together with the subject of the Islamic unity in the recent century have been examined and they have been compared with the activities and the theory makings after the Islamic revolution.
The approximate theories and the undertakings have been examined and they relate to Seyyed Jamalodeen Aradabadee, Mohammad Abodh, Abdolrahman Kavakebee, Ayat Ozam Sharafodeen, Mohammad Hoseyn Kashefolghta, Borujerdee and the Sheykh Mahmud Shalatut and they are seen as the thinkers and the activists that lived before the Iran's Islamic revolution and Imam Khomeini and Ayatollah Khamenei and noting his place regarding the leadership of the Islamic republic leadership. With the founding and with the establishment of the system and that was based on the Shia teachings of the Shia leadership not only have they not refused to promote and have they not refused to insist on their theories and those were against those of those who are the Sunnis and they have to do with the subject of the caliphate and the leadership according to Islam but also they have expanded the paying attention to and the encouraging of the ideals of the Islamic unity.
That thought regarding those which are theoretical and those that are practical have been transformed as far as their evolution is concerned and they are sought after in a format that is more serious, that is more rooted and that is vaster. The extension of the concepts and they have been put forward and a deeper discussion of those and also the expansion of the practical activities such as the founding of the implementation infrastructures such as those of the global convention of the getting closer of the Islamic religions are the rationale behind the ideal and the strategic outlook of the Shia scientists regarding the Islamic unity and a change that shows that the approach regarding the unity is the one that is tactical cannot be seen regarding the Shia scientists.
