Accomplishing the unity among Muslim communities and nations has been one of the goals of Islamic scholars and thinkers,
In addition to that, in the language of the honorable and holy Prophet of Islam and the Qur'an, all Muslims have been called one nation with a single goal and objective.
The holy Quran calls Muslims the single and united nation and invites them to the worship of God the Almighty.
But we see that most of the rulers of Islamic countries seek to strengthen ties with non-Muslim nations and even with those countries which are hostile to Islam.
They do not undertake serious efforts to secure the mission of developing general culture among Muslim world based on Islamic and religion teachings and values.
One of the major objectives of Imam Khomeini had been to boost unity among the Muslims.
The study seeks how Imam transformed the concept and methods of boosting the unity from viewpoint of Imam Khomeini.
Imam Khomeini’s ideals seek a united front of Muslims on challenges such as Palestinian issue facing the Muslim world. Imam also revived the genuine teachings of Islam such as approach to Quranic concepts and the rituals of the Hajj pilgrimage and has presented the dynamic outcomes from basic sources of Islam.
