Once Seyyed Ahamad Khomeini, Imam’s son was asked about the sweetest reaction and the most bitter one about incidents of the holy defense.
He answered that Imam always used to remain calm in all situations and never became excited or over reacted in face of developments, pleasures or sad incidents.
But he recalled that once Imam was walking in the yard while holding a radio in his hand and listening the news.
A pleasant smile could be seen at Imam’s face, and by this expression could be understood that the Iranian forces had liberated the city of Khorramshahr during the imposed war.
Imam was also not happy by accepting the UN-sponsored 598 resolution as a move in the interest of the Islamic Republic system.
Imam had said, “Concerning the acceptance of the Resolution, which is indeed a bitter and unpleasant matter for all especially for me,”
