Abstract
In this dissertation, we see that perspectives of Imam Khomeini about the mystical knowledge or revelation is one of the most valuable and authentic human knowledge.
It is an almost founded fact from perspectives of mystics that divine oriented knowledge occurs with the intuitive and present perception of the known external truth.
In fact, the mystic finds union and connection with the personal and partial essence and truth of the objects and worlds of existence.
The most central tool for acquiring this type of knowledge is the human inner and heart.
Imam Khomeini has put forward the matter in following manner:
According to Imam, in such type of the knowledge, the mystic travels in divine path after purifying his soul and heart and in this manner he acquires mystical knowledge.
Another important issue need to be paid attention has been inseparable relationship between knowledge and practice is one of the issues.
But there would be still obstacles and veils in the path of acquiring mystical knowledge and the mystic is also obliged to break them in order to finally reach the sublime position of knowledge.
In mysticism, meeting God the Almighty and intuition of the inherent manifestations of truth is the highest status of spirituality.
In this research, the author has examined the nature and levels of mystical knowledge and the factors and obstacles to its acquisition from the perspective of Imam Khomeini.
