It has been reported through a series of memoirs that Martyr Ayatollah Baqir Sadr was a great supporter of Imam Khomeini’s struggle for the Islamic Revolution.
He was pursuing Imam’s path to dismantle Saddam’s brutal regime in Iraq just on the same pattern as Imam overthrew the Western back Shah regime in Iran.
Ayatollah Mostajabi once said that al-Sadr wanted me to become a coordinator between him and Imam.
Many letters and communications were exchanged between Imam and al-Sadr before and following the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
