The closing ceremony of the 7th Summit of Ahl-ul-Bayt World Assembly was held in Tehran with the participation of Shia thinkers and scientists from more than 110 countries.
The Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly is an international non-governmental organization in Iran.
It was founded in 1990 by a group of Shia elites in order to identify, organize, educate and support followers of the Household of Prophet Mohammad.
Several special meetings of different committees were held and the projects regarding investment, free trade and special economic zones were announced.
The use of social media platform to spread the divine teachings of AhlulBayt and its mechanism were discussed at separate sessions.
How to boost contacts between the followers of AhlulBayt and how to improve their social, economic and intellectual growth were other topics of the debates during various sessions.
Speaking to Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has hailed the Islamic Republic as the most promising force in the face of plots pursued by colonial powers, stating that most of their outrageous demands have been resisted and rejected due to Iran’s struggle.
Ayatollah Khamenei made the remarks on Saturday as he addressed participants of the 7th Summit of General Assembly of Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly in Tehran.
“Followers of the Household of Prophet are proud to have taken the most significant step in confronting the system of arrogance and dominion. Many words are being uttered; but what is actually taking place on the ground is a clear and definite thing. It is the Islamic Republic acting as the flag-bearer in this regard,” he noted.
Earlier in the opening ceremony of the Seventh Summit of the World Assembly of the Ahl ul-Bayt (AS) which was held in Tehran on Thursday, President Raeisi called Ahl ul-Bayt (AS) a symbol of all goodness, the manifestation of all beauties in the universe, and the key to science, knowledge, ethics, justice, and spirituality for humankind.
Today, the world pays special attention to the school of Ahl ul-Bayt (AS) because it is the school of justice as well as humanity, and fully rationality, he underscored.
Referring to the important role of the assembly, he underlined that this assembly can become a platform for communication among all the active groups in the Muslim world and various states.
President Raeisi noted that today, members of the Ahl ul-Bayt (AS) World Assembly are ready for effective investment in various fields as well as scientific, cultural, and social connections and they can create a very good future.
Elsewhere in his remarks, President Raeisi said that today, it has been proven to everyone that the Islamic Republic of Iran is an invincible system and a power that will not surrender to the burden of domination.
