Qalibaf expressed his “sincere gratitude” towards the Iranian people for their massive turnout in the rallies, saying that “the project to shatter the unity of the nation was defeated by the prudence of the people themselves".
He added that Iranian officials should “remind themselves that the epic presence of people is not for them [officials], but it aims to protect national unity, preserve independence and guarantee the security and tranquility” of Iran.
The Iranian people will not allow “ill-wishers of Iran and the Islamic Revolution” to shatter their national dignity and honor, Qalibaf stressed.
