The event kicked started at a ceremony held at the birthplace town of the great founder of the Islamic Revolution of Iran.
The gathering was attended by Dr. Ali Komsari, head of the institute and senior officials and cultural figures from around the country.
Hojjat al-Islam Seyyed Javad Razavi, the guardian of Imam’s ancestoral house in Khomein, stated in a press conference and media briefing that the edition of the cultural event is being held in Khomeini for the fourth consecutive year with the aim of spreading the dynamic thoughts and intellectual ideals of Imam Khomeini.
The event also aims at providing social services, he added.
The idea of annual event, was initially proposed by the esteemed head of the institute for compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini’s works, Dr. Komsari, and approved by Ayatollah Seyyed Hassan Khomeini, was decided to be implemented with the best possible quality.
By analyzing the shortcomings of previous courses and programs, efforts have been made to improve the cultural and artistic content of various programs compared to previous years.
This year, more effective follow-up has been carried out by the Institute's head office in Tehran and the Khomein representative office.
Several meetings were held with the presence of provincial officials, including the Leader's representative in the province, Ayatollah Durri Najafabadi, the respected governor of Markazi province, and his deputies.
The measures have progressed well so far, thank God, and it is hoped that in the main week of the program, matters will be managed in such a way that its positive effects will continue.
Commemoration of sacrifice and martyrdom is the main focus of the first day.
The first day of this event was dedicated to the topic of sacrifice, resistance, and martyrdom.
Considering the special place and position of Khomein in the central province and the country during the 12-day Israeli aggression, the esteemed presidency of the institute, Dr. Komsari, has emphasizes that a worthy tribute be paid to the honorable families of the martyrs.
The main theme will be to honor the sacrifice of Khomein's youth in defending the country and to honor the status of martyrs and martyrdom.
