One of the key challenges in governance is distinguishing between constructive, solution-oriented criticism_ and _obstructionism and the spread of rumors.
Demanding one’s rights is legitimate. But when criticism is turned into a tool to deliberately undermine the government and paralyze executive institutions, it only results in national deadlock.
From a sociological perspective, Imam Khomeini emphasized that supporting the executive structure during waves of rumors is essential to overcoming crises.
“Among the things that appear to be part of a plot to weaken the Islamic government are the narratives spread among the people and amplified by the media, specifically, baseless criticism of the government, along with _efforts to portray the government in a negative light_.”
