The Russian official was deeply impressed by simple lifestyle of the spiritual and religious leader of the Muslim world and appreciated Imam’s devotion for his country and the oppressed nations across the globe.
This come after the Russian official and some other guests visited house of Imam Khomeini where the great leader opted to reside following the victory of the Islamic Revolution in more than three decades ago.
The senior official was also briefed about the key events which led to the downfall of monarchy and victory of the Islamic Revolution.
The former minister and other visitors also paid a visit to an art gallery which contains several images, painting, and documents reflecting the historic passage of the Islamic Revolution. Each of these objects bears a description and show the history of the greatest movement of the twentieth century. The art gallery also contains a video library and virtual electronic tours about the Islamic Revolution, key personalities and events.
The official was also informed about precious works of Imam Khomeini covering the various fields including jurisprudence, philosophy, poetry and theology. It is noteworthy that several of Imam’s works have been translated into dozens of languages over the past few years. The works are also available in digital library section of this website.
