Indian Delegation Arrives to Attend Imam Khomeini Ceremony

An Indian delegation comprising of academic figures, religious personalities and political dignitaries have arrived in the Iranian capital Tehran in order to attend the 25th anniversary of heavenly departure of Imam Khomeini.

The guests were warmly welcomed and would attend several cultural and academic programs before paying pilgrimage to Imam Khomeini‘s holy shrine.


Several delegations from various countries and regions have arrived in recent days to attend the ceremony.


The international department of the institute for compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini Institute have arranged several programs, summits and cultural events for the foreign guests.


The guests have highlighted the dynamic thought of Imam Khomeini and importance of its promotion during several interviews.


Ruhullah Musawi Khomeini was born on 20 Jamadi al-Akhir 1320/ 24 September 1902- coincidence with the birth anniversary of Hadrat Fatima (PBUH)- in the small town of Khomein, some 160 kilometers to the southwest of the holy city of Qom.


After decades of struggle, the Islamic revolution under the wise leadership of Imam Khomeini gained the victory. The Islamic-democratic system establish by the great Imam brought great status and confidence to the Iranian nation and rest of the Islamic world.


Several analysts and pundits believe that the great Imam’s thought have revived the genuine spiritual teachings and empowered the movements of oppressed nations in different parts of the world in our contemporary era.


Imam Khomeini is widely loved and his works are widely welcomed by Iranians and several nations across the world. Dozens of Imam’s academic works have been translated to several foreign languages over the past few years.
