The great Imam frequently released messages and delivered speeches to highlight the rights of Christians, Jews, Zoroastrians and followers of other religions.

Imam also invited all followers of divine religions to become united under flag of monotheism to confront all conspiracies hatched by ill-powers against the oppressed nations.

Imam Khomeini was the first scholar who drew clear lines and distinguished the Zionism from divine religion of Jews.

It is known that Zionism is a political phenomenon with expansionist, racist and colonialist aims that under the cover of the Jewish religion takes on a religious appearance and tries to pursue its goals as the savior of the Jewish people. But it is not hidden from the perspicacious thinkers that the fanciful claim of the racial unity of the Jews of the world is made by Zionists who want to justify their usurpation of Palestinian land and their crimes in the occupied territories.

It is obvious that the director of this drama was, in the beginning, British colonialism, but later that position was entrusted to the officials at the White House and today they are the ones who call the shots. And it goes without saying that the neo-colonialism of the West cares little for the religion of God and the pious people, the only thing that matters to the colonialists of today being their own imperialist interests. Aware of these realities, Imam Khomeini, by always making a distinction between Judaism and Zionism, confronted this trick and removed the mask of hypocrisy from the faces of those claiming to defend Judaism. He introduced Zionism as fundamentally a political movement antithetical to the principles of religion and the aims of the divine messengers.

Coming from a family of scholars, who for generations had devoted their lives to offering religious guidance to the people, young Rouhollah began his education by memorizing the holy Qur’an and later went to Arak (1920-21) and Qom (1923) to complete his religious studies.

During the 1930s, Imam Khomeini dedicated his time to teaching Islamic jurisprudence in Qom.

In 1961, Ayatollah Khomeini became a source of emulation and gradually entered the political arena. In January 1963, he engaged in activities against the then-monarch of Iran, Mohammad-Reza Pahlavi, who had announced his so-called White Revolution program.

Imam Khomeini changed the lives of Iranians and inspired people from other countries by guiding one of the greatest revolutionary movements of modern history to victory.

The Islamic Revolution, under the guidance of the late Imam Khomeini, established a new political system based on Islamic values.
