Senior Iranian air force officials and officers have pledged their allegiance to ideals of Imam Khomeini, the late founder of the Islamic Republic
Ccommanders and officials of Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Air Defense Base vowed to continue the lofty goals of the Islamic Revolution and path of Imam Khomeini while paying a pilgrimage to his holy mausoleum, which is located in southern part of the Iranian capital, Tehran.
Imam Khomeini’s holy shrine has become a center and beacon of religious, spiritual, social, cultural and political gatherings in recent years.
They holy site is also visited by thousands of tourists, pilgrims and people from various walks of life from across Iran and the other parts of the world.
The victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979 under the wise leadership of Imam Khomeini put Iran on track of progress, and changed balance of power in the interests of oppressed people around the globe.
