Armenian delegation visits Imam’s historic residence

Chairman of Armenia's Investigation Committee Aghvan Hovsepyan has visited the simply-built historic residence of the late founder of the Islamic Republic.

Hovsepyan and accompanying delegation visited Imam Khomeini’s historic residencewhich is located in Tehran’s northern district of Jamaran.

They were deeply impressed by the simple life-style of the world leader who left deep impact on the world in contemporary history.

Imam opted to live at the simple residence after becoming the founder of the Islamic Revolution in 1979.

The delegation also visited a nearby gallery where the objects reflecting the history of the Islamic Revolution have been kept.

The sites attributed to Imam Khomeini are visited by thousands of tourists, pilgrims and intellectuals from across Iran and the other parts of the world each year.

The victory of the Islamic Revolution under the wise leadership of 1979 changed the balance of power in the interest of developing countries and oppressed nations.
