The spiritual gathering was held at the holy shrinewhich is located at the southern suburbs of the Iranian capital, Tehran.

Imam’s mausoleum has become beacon and center of social, religious, spiritual and cultural gatherings. The site is also visited by thousands of pilgrims, tourists and intellectuals from across Iran and various parts of the world.
It is worthy to mention that several of Imam Khomeini’s theological works contain deep Quranic concepts.
A group of research scholars have recently extracted a five-volume Quranic interpretation from Imam’s works. The collection has been translated into English, Arabic and Urdu languages.
Imam left dozens of works which covers a range of knowledge of disciplines including philosophy, mysticism, Quranic and Hadith Sciences, Jurisprudence and poetry and literature.
The Islamic Revolution under wise leadership of Imam Khomeini at sensitive juncture of history revived divine values and genuine Qurnaic teachings.
