The exhibition was organized by the institute for compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini’s works on the sidelines of the international summit in the Iranian capital. Dozens of Imam Khomeini’s works in foreign languages and several multimedia productions regarding his dynamic thought were presented at the exhibition.
The book exhibition was held with joint efforts of international department of the institute in order to introduce Imam’s unique works and his precious thought to foreign intellectuals, academics and professors.
The department also conducted several interviews with foreign dignitaries about Imam’s great personality during the two-day event. The interviews will be published on the Institute’s website or will appear its prestigious magazines and publications.
The 26th International Islamic Unity Conference was held by the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in order to discuss the ways to promote unity among the Muslims and the Islamic Awakening across the strategically important regions of the Middle East and North Africa.
Thinkers and scholar from across 102 countries discussed the issue of unity among Islamic Ummah and the existing problems of the Muslim world during the summit of great significance.
Hundreds of prominent scientific, political and cultural figures from Iran, the Muslim world and the Western countries were among the among the participants of the conference. The closing session of the summit was held on Monday 28th of January 2013 in Tehran.
Several prominent scholars emphasized that the unique leadership of Imam Khomeini has inspired the recent ongoing wave of the Islamic Awakening across the Muslim World.
