A Lebanese Christian MP talked about current developments in the region and the Arabic awakening breeze, and said: “The awakening breeze in the region is inspired by the Iranian revolution spring in 1979.”
Marwan Fares, prominent member of the Syrian Social Nationalist Party, in an interview named the US and Israel’s threats towards Iran as empty and hollow and added: “Iran knows how to defend from its achievements and victories against foreign threats.”
Marwan compares the present Iran with its situation in 30 years ago and says: “We have witnessed a unique development in all contexts in Iran, and therefor we’re not worried about its situation, because for sure Iran knows how to defend itself, and this is a lesson by Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran to this nation.”
“Despite the will of the US and its allies in the region, the Islamic Revolution of Iran will continue its path of development, growth, prosperity and dignity ” Marwan Fares added.
This Christian MP added: “I surely state that the future of the region, despite all the pressures, threats and attempts to create intrigue in the Arabic and Islamic world, belongs to nations of the region and especially the axis of resistance and the resistant countries.”
