The distinction of Iran’s revolution to other revolutions is Imam Khomeini’s leadership role

Iran’s ambassador to Turkey, described the distinction of Iran’s revolution to other revolutions as the wise leadership of the founder of the Islamic republic, Imam Khomeini.

According to a report by IRNA, on the occasion of the 33rd victory of the Islamic revolution of Iran, which was held by the Iran culture center in Ankara, Bahman Hosseinpour said: “The most important feature of the Islamic revolution, was the wise guidance of the founder of  the Islamic republic who was able to bring this revolution to success.”

Hosseinpour added: “Before 1979 which the glorious Islamic revolution was victorious, all the revolutions in the world had a Marxism origins, but Imam Khomeini based on Islamic teachings, started a revolution in Iran which is still standing after 30 years.

Iran’s ambassador to Turkey by mentioning the Islamic awakening in the Middle East and North Africa, stated: “In the past year we have witnessed revolutions in Egypt, Tunisia and Libya. The main reason which these revolutions had faced particular problems is that they don’t have a unique leader.”

He mentioned people’s uprisings in Bahrain and Yemen and said: “We shouldn’t forget the pressuring role that Western countries are playing to prevent the happening of these revolutions.”
