The Presence of Foreign Reporters in the June 3rd Ceremony

Manager of Foreign Media in the Culture and Guidance Ministry informed us about the presence of foreign reporters and photographers from 23 international media for covering the June 3rd ceremony.

Mohammad Javad Aqajari in an interview with the News Committee of Imam’s Commemoration talked about their preparations for the presence of foreign media during Imam’s ceremony: “Right now 120 foreign media representatives are present in Iran, among them 26 media with 66 reporters will cover the news, other TV channels will receive a live broadcast signal from the IRIB, and the news agencies and newspapers that are located outside of Iran will cover the ceremony by receiving their news from valid Iranian news websites.

Then he emphasized on covering the Supreme Leader’s speech and stated: “The news coverage of this year’s ceremony, especially the speech of the Supreme Leader, has a great importance for foreign media; therefore we have prepared a good place for the reporters who are going to cover this ceremony live.”

The Manager of Foreign Media said: “In occasion of the anniversary of the demise of Imam Khomeini, meetings are going to be held for the presence of foreign reporters at the demise ceremony.”

At the end Aqajari added: “The following TV channels: Japan’s NHK; Qatar’s Arabic and English Aljazeera; Lebanon’s Al-Manar, Al-Mayadeen and Asia; Kuwait’s Al-Kut; Russia’s Russia Today; ARD from Germany; Palestine Today; China’s Phoenix; Iraq’s Al-Furat, Al-Etejah, Afagh and Beladi; and CBS NEWS and APTN from the United States, and the news agencies: Xhin Hua from China, AP from US and Afghan Voice Agency, along with the newspapers: Nihonkai ,Mainichi and Yomiuri from Japan are among the media which will cover the ceremony closely.
