Announcement No.2 of the Central Committee of Imam Khomeini’s Commemoration
In the name of God
The ceremony for the 23rd anniversary of the demise of the founder of the IR Iran, Imam Khomeini, this year will be held more sensational than ever and in the days related to the pious and just Imam, the commander of faithful, Imam Ali (a.s.), and the blessings of the month of God, Rajab has added to the spirit; theme of this year's ceremony, and millions of faithful Iranians and the followers of Imam from our country and throughout the world will participate in this ceremony.
The Central Committee of Imam Khomeini’s Commemoration by issuing their 2nd announcement invited the revolutionary people of the Islamic Iran to participate in the programs formed for June 2nd and 3rd, and announced their detailed program:
1- The funeral of 96 martyrs of the holy war at 10 a.m. on Saturday June 2nd, at Imam’s holy shrine;
2- Holding a ceremony on the night of Saturday June 2nd, after the Maghrib prayer along with President Ahmadinejad’s speech in the apron of Imam’s holy shrine;
3- The special ceremony on the day of Sunday June 3rd, with the speech of Hojatoleslam Sayyid Hassan Khomeini and valuable speech of Ayatollah Khamenei, the supreme leader of the Islamic revolution at the Martyr Ayatollah Haj Mustafa Apron;
Indeed the glorious participation of our revolutionary nation will be counted as an honorable document in our book of resistance and it will show the depth of our noble nation’s faithfulness to the aspirations of Imam Khomeini.
