According to Jamaran news agency, Military Attaché of 22 Countries along with visiting the Jamaran Husseinieh and gallery and Imam’s house, held a friendly meeting with Hojatoleslam Sayyid Hassan Khomeini.
General Mohammad Reza Movahedi, head of the armed Forces Committee for Imam Khomeini’s Commemoration at the beginning of this meeting thanked the Attachés and stated: “Since we are all militants, we might have some questions. Like in a brief time after the revolution and being weak in military equipment's, how did Iran resisted against a power that was supported by most of the powers of the world, and even it was able to conquer the Faw Peninsula and to free Khorramshahr and to break the Abadan siege?”
He added: “Regardless of Imam’s management and skill, the most important factor was his spiritual leadership. It was because of his spiritual leadership that the people and military officials loved Imam. All the military officials and commanders believed that following Imam’s order is following God’s order and therefor they followed Imam’s orders with their hearts and they accomplished the most impossible missions during the eight year holy defense.”
The Indonesian Attaché as the leader of the foreign Attaché in Iran then thanked because of organizing this meeting and said: “I thank God that we are blessed with this opportunity to get to know about Imam’s life from this close. This meeting made us closer. I want to use this opportunity to congratulate the Iranian nation because of being blessed by having Imam Khomeini and using his leadership for being victorious in your revolution.”
