Hujjatul-Islam Sayyid Sadraddin Ghabanchi, Najaf's Friday prayer Imam, in his sermons for this week's Friday prayer, pointing to the arrival of the global Quds day said: "Muslims should shout the motto: Yes to Palestine and No to Israel, from the bottom of their hearts, a motto which will be shouted by the world."
"The Quds day is the suggestion of an Imam who released contemporary governors; Imam Khomeini wanted the world to honor the last Friday of Ramadan as the global Quds day", he added.
Hujjatul-Islam affirmed: "The announcement of the last Friday of Ramadan as the global Quds day contains messages which could be referred as, Palestine is an occupied land, the Zionist regime is an illegal regime and that regime can't be considered legitimate by regularizing its relations."
Najaf's Friday prayer Imam, invited Islamic countries to honor the global Quds day and said: "What was taken forcedly, should be taken back forcedly thus I want all the Arab and Islamic nations to take part in the demonstration of the global Quds day."
