Introducing Imam Khomeini’s Character and his Thought to the Tajik Youth

A Tajik scholar has gathered Imam Khomeini’s political and cultural thoughts in a book in Cyrillic.

According to IRIB’s Central News Unit in Dushanbe, Omar Safar, a Professor at the Tajikistan National University, has figured Imam Khomeini’s character in contemporary poetry, the East and West issue and the training of the youth through Imam Khomeini’s view in Cyrillic.


Through this book which has been published by the assistance of Iran’s Culture Center in Tajikistan, Imam’s popularity, his linguistic specifications, mysticism and his political prospect have been counted as the unique characteristics of the late Imam.


Omar Safar, the author of this book, mentioned introducing Imam Khomeini’s character to the Tajik youth as his main goal for writing this book and stated that Imam Khomeini’s views about political and cultural issues could even be a great solution for the modern societies.



“Imam Khomeini, the father of the Islamic Revolution” written by A’laa Khan Afsahzad in 1998, was the first book about Imam Khomeini which was published in Tajikistan and after wards each year one or two books about Imam Khomeini’s character has been written and published by Tajik scholars and authors.
