The original book compiled in Arabic by Dr. Mustafa Al-Rafaei, a Lebanese writer and thinker, intends to evaluate and review Imam Khomeini's thought and views with regard to jurisprudential and political issues as well as sociological concerns.
Malek Abdi, translator of the book, in an interview with “the Book of Iran” News Agency, said:
Al-Rafaei underlines the views of Imam Khomeini regarding the significance of relation between religion and politics and believes that this relation is counted as the main policy of Iranian Islamic Revolution. According to him, the Imam (s) intellectually speaks about a religious revolution which benefits from both the religious values and political strategies; since mere consideration of politics leads the governments into dictatorship and the sharp focus on religion brings them an unpractical political system.
Abdi also added: Al-Rafaei considers in this book the sociological causes of the Islamic revolution in various fields of economics, politics, and culture and explains how the development of each field under Imam Khomein's leadership resulted in the victory and continuation of the revolution. Furthermore, the author reiterates Imam Khomeini's strategies to preserve the Islamic Revolution while introducing His Eminence as a role model for the Palestinian freedom fighters.
