NAM Heads' Attendance in Iran shows support of the Revolution
In an interview with the Portal of Imam Khomeini, Hussein Sheikhulislam, Tehran's deputy in the Islamic Consultative Assembly and the former deputy of the Iranian FM, mentioning Imam's recommendations on the issuance of the Islamic revolution, said: "NAM heads' attendance in Iran is the issuance of the revolution. It has been 30 years that Americans try to suppress the revolution but they haven't been successful. The attendance of the NAM heads shows the acceptance of the Imam's course and the rejection of the United States."
He also mentioned: "Ban Ki Mon and the most revolutionary heads have participated this summit and this shows that Imam's course is accepted by them."
He continued: "In the very first year after the victory of the revolution, Iran became a member of this movement by Imam's order. Because he found the goals of the movement similar to his foreign policies and the slogan: "No east, No west"."
Sheikhulislam said: "Iran's attendance in the movement was bolded by supports of Imam Khomeini."
Hussein Sheikhulislam confirmed: "Our attendance in the summit is based on the slogan" No east, No west" we have continued Imam's resisting course till now and this is because of the goal that Imam has showed us."
