Iranians organize Ceremonies for the Islamic Revolution across the country to remember the matchless leadership of Imam Khomeini.

Several ceremonies have been held ahead of 37thanniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.


A series of ceremonies have already been held across the country to mark the Ten-Day known as Fajr (Dawn).


On February 11, a special gathering was held at Imam Khomeini’s holy shrine, which is located on the outskirts of the Iranian capital, Tehran.


A large number of people celebrated the anniversary of Imam’s historic return to Tehran after spending several years before the victory of the Islamic Revolution.


Meanwhile, a number of motorcyclists marched a parade to mark the return to home of Imam Khomeini 37 years ago at a street ending to the Azadi square.


In addition to that, the bells rang across schools all over the country to remind the students of the time when imam had entered the capital Tehran


February 1, 1979 was the date when Ayatollah Khomeini returned from years of exile


Massive protest rallies by the Iranian masses ousted the US-backed brutal regime of Pahlavi on February 11, 1979, ending the 2,500 years of monarchy system in the country.


Iranians hold ceremonies in remembrance of the victory of the Islamic revolution and its leaders from February 1 to 11, known as the Ten-Day Fajr ceremonies every year.
