Hojjat al-Islam Dr. Mohammad Moghaddam said that all means and intellectual potentials should be used to strengthen national unity which could lead the country towards adopting a powerful foreign policy.
Highlighting the significance of sovereignty, Hojjat al-Islam Moghaddam went onto say that amicable bond and connection between people and government will make a nation stronger and more sovereign.
Existence of pleasant mutual ties between the people and the administration would enhance the image and reputation of the nation in the eyes of the other countries, he stressed.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Dr. Moghaddam, who also heads international department of the institute for compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini’s works, noted that serious efforts should be undertaken in a bid to improve co-existence and create unprecedented solidarity.
Underscoring the importance of the idea of the Resistance Economy by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Dr. Moghaddam said that unity also forms the essential pillars of resolution of the country’s economic woes.
Resistance economy would be fully implemented when the united society moves towards exploring and expanding national sources and makes use of all intellectual potentials, he noted.
If a society seeks growth in political, cultural and economic fields, it will have to promote unity among all echelon of the society, the scholar explained.
Dr. Moghaddam concluded by saying that a united society is word worthy and got something to say for the world and international community.
It is worthy to mention that Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic sough a massive participation of public in social, cultural and political arenas.
Imam also emphasized on creating unity among all fabrics of society, and he also promoted the solidarity among the entire Muslim world and strengthened the cause of oppressed nations.
