Thomas Kalks, who has great devotion towards the divine religion of Islam, made remarks after paying a pilgrimage along with his family and friends to holy mausoleum of Imam Khomeini, the late founder of the Islamic Republic.
He went onto say that Imam Khomeini; the late founding leader of the Islamic Republic had been able to create a widespread unity among the Muslims at a sensitive juncture of history.
The US national also stressed that Iranian people’s behavior towards them have been very friendly during the visit, and insisted that he along with his spouse would also pick Iran as a destination of choice for the next visit as well.
The American tourist, who is a member of the American Jewish community described the Israel as a terrorist regime, and denounced Tel Aviv crimes against Palestinians especially the people of the besieged Gaza Strip. He also noted that Palestinians have been suffering from Israeli repressive policies and crimes since 1948.
This comes as Imam Khomeini’s holy shrine which is located on the outskirts of the Iranian capital, Tehran has been become beacon of cultural, social, religious and spiritual programs and activities.
The holy site is also visited by thousands of pilgrims, tourists and intellectuals form across Iran and the various parts of the world each year.
Imam Khomeini called for all followers of divine religions to unite under the banner of Islam to confront cruelty, repression and repressive policies of colonial powers.
