Iranians pledge allegiance to Imam Khomeini’s ideals

Iranian people from various walks of life have pledged allegiance to ideals of the late founder of the Islamic revolution by visiting his holy mausoleum in the Iranian capital Tehran.

The students from various schools and universities, workers from different institutions, organizations and ministeries, senior officials and ministers, groups of pilgrims and tourists paid visit to Imam Khomeini’s holy shrine which is located on the southern outskirts of the capital.  


They pledged to pursue ideals of Imam Khomeini and vowed to further the objectives of the Islamic revolution.


The holy shrine of the Muslim world contemporary leader has been turned into a center and beacon of academic, cultural, social, religious and spiritual events in recent years.


The latest visits took place during days when Imam Khomeini returned to the Iranian capital Tehran, which marks celebrations better known as the 10-Day Dawn festivities as millions of people are set to celebrate the 38th anniversary of the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.


Imam Khomeini transformed the entire world by reviving divine values at sensitive juncture of history and also changed balance of power in the interest of oppressed nation by leading the Islamic revolution to victory in 1979. Imam’s ideals continue to attract millions of believers and faithful people across the globe.
